Return and Refund Policy

RETURNS and REFUNDS: Should you wish to return a product, please email info@starlingphotography.co.za. Ensure that all details of the product, reason for return are stipulated in the email. All returns must be unused, unopened and in 100% resealable condition. The product must be in its original packaging and condition, including any free items or bundled items provided with the main product purchased. Due to hygiene purposes, we are unable to take back any used headphones or earphones. The item/items needs to be returned to Starling Photography SA or its supplier within 14 days after you receive the delivery.

Returned items are subject to a penalty fee if items are missing and or damaged. It is the responsibility and expense of the customer to return the product to Starling Photography SA or its supplier, using a reputable courier. Starling Photography SA will not be held responsible or accountable for products not received. Instructions and return addresses will be provided when you send us an email for the return.

Starling Photography SA reserves the right to reject a returned product should it not meet the conditions stipulated above. Refunds to a South African bank account or credit card will take place within plus minus 10-14 working days of the returned product being inspected and approved for a credit.

If a refund is requested before an item has been dispatched to you or for any other reason, the refund will take place within plus minus 10-14 working days from the date of request to your credit card or South African bank account. Refunds, whatever the reason, will be processed in plus/minus 10 to 14 working days.

Starling Photography SA reserves the right to cancel any order and provide a full refund due to non delivery or circumstances beyond our control. Please note that Starling Photography SA is also a market place which means we list our own products as well as third party products from registered authorised dealers/suppliers. For any reason that a dealer/supplier is not able to deliver a product, we will process a full refund. Please note under no circumstances do we do an immediate refund as there are always processes to follow. 

Please note the above refund process applies to any form of purchase/sale with us on every platform of ours. 

With regards to refunds for any type of photography – Full refunds will be provided if requested more than seven days before the event. However only a fifty percent refund will be done if cancellation is seven days or less before the event. Please note all approved refund requests takes 10 to 14 working days to process. No refunds will be processed/done after an event has been done by Starling Photography SA.
